Size  -  9 in  (23 cm) approx



Bring forward 25 alternate needles, work 1 row, hang on cast-on comb. Bring forward other needles to make 50. St.st 90 rows. Take off on waste. Choose a tuck stitch pattern card.          4ply yarn



Cast on 80 sts in waste yarn. Knit 10 rows. Change to main yarn. Knit 2 rows st.st

Pattern for 226 rows or 45cm and nearest end of pattern sequence. Knit 2 rows st.st then 10 rows on waste yarn. Release from machine.

Pull out 40 needles. Place work back on machine with 2 sts to each needle then work 1x1 rib for 56 rows. Remember last row on highest tension for loose cast off.
